On 14 Sep 1402 Henry Percy 1st Earl Northumberland 1341-1408 (60) and his son Henry "Hotspur" Percy 1364-1403 (38) lay in wait for the Scots to return from their laying waste to Northumberland at Homildon Hill, Northumberland. The Battle of Homildon Hill was a victory for the English forces whose longbowmen decimated the Scottish schiltrons. Henry Fitzhugh 3rd Baron Fitzhugh 1358-1425 (44) fought for the English. William Stewart -1402 and John Swinton -1402 were killed. On 19 Feb 1408 Thomas Rokeby's force of Yorkshire levies defeated the Percy army during the Battle of Bramham Moor bringing to an end the Percy rebellion. Of the rebels Henry Percy 1st Earl Northumberland 1341-1408 (66) and Thomas Bardolf 5th Baron Bardolf 1385-1408 (22) were killed
