A black page, dressed in red, stands behind to the right, beneath a column on a high plinth, a pillared balustrade on the left, with a view of trees and a cloudy sky beyond. A Countess’s coronet is shown on the table, right. She wears an elaborate white silk gown with a red velvet bodice edged with white fur, and a long red cloak over which is a cape of ermine. She holds a fold of her cloak in her right hand and gestures to the right with her left hand.
