On 19 May 1676 John Greenhill 1644-1676 (32) died. He had been returning home somewhat less than sober from an evening in the Vine Tavern, Holborn, Camden, City of London when he fell into a ditch in Long Acre, Westminster. He was carried to his lodgings in Lincoln's Inn Fields, Holborn, Camden, City of London but didn't recover.

After 19 May 1676 John Greenhill 1644-1676 was buried in St Giles in the Fields, Camden, City of London
